Juvenile Probation director rescinds resignation
The director of Harris County’s Juvenile Probation Department on Wednesday decided not to retire after the panel of judges that oversees the agency voted to ask him to stay at the helm.
School reforms to halt radical Islam puzzles Algerians
First, Abdel Malek Outas’ teachers taught him to write math equations in Arabic, and embrace Islam and the Arab World. Then they told him to write in Latin letters that are no longer branded unpatriotic, and open his mind to the West.
