ASTROS NOTES: Lidge closer to return
Lidge progressing Astros closer Brad Lidge tossed a pain-free bullpen session Saturday and could come off the 15-day disabled list as early as the middle of this week. Lidge, who has been bothered by a strained left oblique muscle, threw 50 pitches at “90 to 95 percent” and said he will hold judgment on how he feels until waking up today.
